Weather in France
The weather in France depends according to the country’s landscape. The temperature level differs in each part of the country. So before you travel to France make sure to check its weather forecast. One can go skiing in the Alps while another can rest on the sand beaches of Cannes. Boarding the Mediterranean sea, the southern part of the country provides a mild and a warm climate.
Generally the weather in France changes all throughout the year, but the change is good for some districts of the country according to their climate. The region consisting of Auvergne, Burgundy and the Rhone Valley may be with very strong winds. The Northern and Northwestern France, situated near the Belgium has a temperature that is most equal to England’s rainy and snowy winter and cool summer.
The district of Southwestern France that include Bordeaux with its wine production has a wet climate, but warm and sunny and its excellent climate for the grapes that grow well in this region. The other region is Central and Eastern France, that contains Paris and Lyon. The weather there may be with much rains in the summer, but on the whole the weather is quiet fine for spending the days outside, without feeling cold or too hot.
The next region is for those who admire hot sun and warm sea - the Mediterranean Coast and Corsica. Though its the hottest region of all others in France, Corsica is a mountainous island and you may find snow on the highest level even during its warm spring.
The mountainous regions are called the coldest and the wettest ones, and its a good place for holiday makers who enjoy winter kind of sports, ie. skiing and snowboarding. The Jura and Alps along the borders with Switzerland and Italy are just the right places for these type of activities.
