When choosing your mode of travel to France, the most convenient way is by air. There are four main airports within Paris area, such as Paris-Charles de Gaulle (CDG), Paris-Orly, Lyon (LYS) and Marseille (MRS).  All of these airports are situated in the suburbs of the city, but you can easily get there within 12-20 minutes.  You also may find different kinds of transport services that are provided within these areas.  You can get to the capital, ie. the city of Paris, by taxi, bus or by train on B or C lines, that provides the RER system, only from Paris-Charles de Gaulle, Paris-Orly airports.
The network of the train lines is very wide and you can easily get to any place in France. If you choose to travel by train, you can admire the picturesque views through the window, although it runs at a fast speed and it may be hard to distinguish something outside. When you travel by train  the prices on the tickets vary in every region. You can obtain a map, including the information about the train service, at the stations, free of charge.
You also can plan your holiday in France by beginning an adventurous journey on board admiring the endless sea.  You may choose among the different seas to travel by according to the geographical positions of the country.
La Rochelle is the main port in the Atlantic  that provides the leisure boating trips. Boulogne, Calais and Le Havre are the chief ports in the North Sea, except the sailing on the sea they provide the transportation by the numerous channels. In the Mediterranean Sea the central port is Marseille from which you can get to Corsica, Sardinia, Algeria or you may travel on cruise liner that stops at every large port in France.
