Cannes is a famous luxurious city in France with beautiful landscapes, golden sand beaches and yachts along the sea shore and expensive cars, on the quay. You may also find magnificent palaces and streets full of shops, providing a wide range of jewelry to choose from. Also, if you want to buy expensive and exclusive items, ie. the yacht or the Rolls-Royce, haute-couture clothes, there are a great deal of shops and boutiques on Rue d'Antibes or Bvd de la Croisette where you can shop in.

You also can admire an amazing view while walking down these street, because the district is located along the beach. You can get to Cannes, or travel from there to the other parts of France, by bus. By this method of transport, you get the chance of viewing the suburbs of this city, with its amazing apartments where the famous people live. The transport service and the biggest bus station is conveniently located on the Place Bernard Cornut-Gentille, which is north-western part of the port.
For people who travel to France with children, the shady park at the western part of La Croisette is a place not to be missed. The park is with the carrousel just in front of the Palais des Festival, where various types of performances are held regularly. There is also the other park in the east end of La Croisette, the Jardin Alexandre III, where you can find a great collection of flowers. The yacht harbor is situated near the Port Canto where there you will find a lot of different types of boats and you may as well stay on your own one there.
There are many prestigious hotels located in Cannes where many Hollywood stars, models and very rich people live in. The most well-known hotels are the Carlton and the Martinez that has a reputation as the oldest and as the most noble, owing to their beautiful and ancient architecture. But, Noga Hilton is the newest hotel that was established in 1992, where you will find the casino. All these hotels face the Mediterranean.
